What is takes to be an ally? Being an Ally with PRAGNYA is the process of working to develop individual attitudes, institutions, and culture in which people touched by Autism or any ID/DD feel they are valued and feel welcome into the mainstream. This work is motivated by an enlightened self-interest to raise awareness and acceptance of the mainstream community to the the individuals on the Autism spectrum. An ally is a person who works both to facilitate the development of all students around issues of learning and to improve the experience of people with Autism. Our Allies Meghna, Pranav and Mr. Uppiliappan share why its important for us all to become allies!
